The Occupational Health and Safety Service performs advisory and supervisory functions in the field of workplace safety and health.

The Regulation of the Council of Ministers of September 2, 1997, outlines a wide range of duties and powers for the OHS service, each aimed at creating a safer and less burdensome working environment for employees, in which labor law regulations are respected.

OHS Inspectorate

The OHS Inspectorate is currently an eleven-member organizational unit that performs the function of the OHS service at the Jagiellonian University, in accordance with the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of September 2, 1997, on the occupational health and safety service (Journal of Laws of September 18, 1997 as amended).
